Yankee Legend Mickey Rivers visited Toms River this Summer

August 14th 2011 TOMS RIVER NJ - New York Yankee great Mickey Rivers delighted the crowd at the monthly Card Show on Garfield Ave! That's right the '77 & '78 World Champion signed autographs and posed for pics with the fans while visitors to the show could meander around the 60+ tables of cards & memorabilia. Some brought items with them such as the 1978 Burger King™ Yankees poster or the giant Louisville Slugger™ and some stayed with the basic photo, baseball or trading card. Whatever the item, The Mick was happy to pose for pics with the fans, bs a little and even had time to chow down on a couple of hot dogs at the food concession.  Next show is Sept 11th and Joe Pepitone coming Oct 9th
