CLEANING DOWN TOWN - Boy Scout Troop #52 Community Service

Toms River Fire Company #2 has sponsored Boy Scout Troop #52 for over 50 years! TRFC2 was happy to assist the Boy Scouts today washing all 20 Statues of the Seward Johnson Sculpture Exhibit in the downtown area. If you haven't seen these wonderful Sculptures...take the time to see each and every one! The Sculptures are displayed by the Toms River Business Development Corporation (DowntownTomsRiver.com) scattered around the downtown area and will be here in Toms River from May 8th thru Sept 10th! The Boy Scouts from Troop #52 hand washed each and every one! The Scouts enjoyed reading the descriptions at the base of each statue. The Scouts had fun walking the downtown area searching for each statue, then washing and rinsing them off with the fire hose from the TRFC2 Brush Truck #2609.
