Former Mayor Brush calls for safety measure on our roads

There was a head-on collision Friday, 10/7, on Bey Lea Rd. when apparently a car drifted over the center lane into the oncoming traffic.  I think we need center line markers to alert drivers if they start to drift over to the oncoming lane. This is the same concept that is used on the Garden State Parkway and the interstate highways on the right shoulder to alert drivers who doze off at the wheel.  Center line warning makers on our businest roads would be a valuable safety measure.

I am very concerned that the past paced lifestyle we lead today with instant communications and hand held electronics has changed our driving habits and made the roads less safe, especially near the high schools where teen drivers are less experienced.  We all have to slow down and live.
